Reviews
Excellent heritage garden with exuberant architecture. Mesmerising hills add to the beauty. If in Jaipur then you must visit or you will miss something amazing.
It has a restaurant too with a great ambience.
Very serene and calm place to visit. Architecture is splendid and very own Rajasthan. It has a vastl expanse of land and hills on its sides. Lights all around the place make it even more beautiful in the Evening and night. The place also houses weddings and functions if booked as told by the keepers of the place.
It also houses a exquisite restaurant though it's higher on cost side. So visit on your own risk.
Good place with a great view. Only suggestion : bring your own water bottle. Only one bottle will cost you 350 rupees. Else it has good food, great place to roam around and click pictures and one beautiful terrace available on request
This place & also sisodia Rani ka bagh not worth it at all for combo ticket 1000 rupee, toilet no water & not maintance. It is just an open air place with little bit garden. I have seen, they will use this garden for an event, but not a tourist place.... not recommended at all
Awesome Garden with monuments...if you love history with nature this is the place to visit... Not much crowded... Night lights are beautiful...place is beautifully maintained... Quiet place to enjoy with your family.
Best time of year: September - February
Best time to visit : 4:30- 7pm
Tickets : 50 during day, 100 during night
One of the beautiful places of Jaipur... It's a must visit... In daylight and at night too.... The beauty is unbelievable and peaceful.
Located in Ghat ki Guni in Jaipur in Rajasthan, Vidhyadhar Garden was built in 1988 in the memory of Vidyadhar Bhattacharya, the chief architect to Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. He is also celebrated for being the chief architect in designing the beautiful and elegant city of Jaipur.
Vidhyadhar Bagh was aesthetically designed based on the ancient book 'Shilpa Shastra'. It's the perfect combination of contemporary Hindu and Mughal modus operandi.
You will have to pay Rs 100/- as entry fee
The garden is named after the principal architect of Jaipur, Vidhyadhar. It is a beautiful heritage garden between the hills which is still preserving its old charm ...
Vidhyadhar garden is one of the well conserved gardens of the city.
What a beautiful serene garden...gives a sense of the grandeur of Bygone era...Though little out of town but worth the effort if you're fond of large, open, green spaces/gardens. Now they have a fine dine restaurent within the premises though it's highly over rated/priced.
This heritage garden is at Agra road Jaipur. It opens at 9:30 am.Ticket for students is available for only Rs.10/- while for other Indians it is Rs. 50/- and for foreigners it is Rs.200/-. If you will go after 6:00 pm. You can see the beautiful lights.
The garden is well maintained.A restaurant is also there where you can enjoy tea coffee cold drinks and some food.
You can reach there by your own car or by hiring a taxi or by city bus. Policemen are also deployed there for safety purposes.
It is wheelchair accessible. Transportation is easily available.
Ample parking space is available.
